When Tyler was hugging Roy and everybody else, those Michigan State fans were giving him some deadly glares lol…Franklin St. was AMAZING that night…HEELS!!!!
I like Michigan state but Unc was just better. I think uconn would hhave had a better chance against them if they had won because of the size but somehow they lost.
I wish I could see our coach smile again. And I know we have a young team, but dang….please play with some heart…defend better..minimize turnovers, etc. Poor Roy is getting blasted for his comments about Haiti and this catastrophe of a “season.”
@89Ryanhoward UNC would win by 100 pts. just compare each position. Lawson all day, Ellington all day, Danny Green all day, Deon, Hansbrough!! our whole starting lineup is in the NBA besides Deon since he stayed. these boys got hardware besides the title. they all averaged double digits! these boys broke records in the title game! team and individual! that’s why we were voted program of the decade
unc had its best year in history (in my opinion) and they were just the better team then msu i mean, the announcer was exactly right, the size was 2 much
Wolverinefan, on paper this looks like the best team ever. Danny Green had the most wins in UNC history. Hansbrough had tons of records and he + Ellington were the highest scoring UNC duo ever. The 1/2-time score and lead in this game were the highest ever, and Lawson had a record number of steals.
The ’05 team played great through their last tournament, but for the whole 4 years (esp. bc so many jr’s came back in 08) these guys get my nod for best ever. If they played, ’09 gets my vote .
oh my god they only started the game at 19:57 if state had 3 more seconds they would have won…. haha jk jk, i really dont like unc but i gotta give it to em this team was good
The ’10 Heels are struggling bad, it’s true. My buddy suggests the problem is they have no senior leader. They have Ginyard, but he’s not really leading, and they can’t find anyone else to do the job – which leaves them floundering up and down each week .
In many ways this team is the best I’ve ever seen at UNC. My brother and I have been watching the Heels for 40 yrs and at times during this game we were in awe. There were at least a few possessions where they were almost perfect, and it’s true that Michigan (or any other team I can think of) really didn’t stand a chance.

i love how michigan state ate up kansas, louisville, and connecticut for N.Carolina

when unc led 53 32 i just stopped watching
@Wolverinefan33 the game didnt start at 19 57 they had two tips offs they messed the first one up and a couple seconds ran off

i think michigan state went beyond expectations they were not enough for north carolina. unc was destined to win the championship. they were too good

michigan state didnt play a bad game but unc just made every shot they attempted. Im a msu fan but unc played an amazing game.
