@gabrizzle there were rich people back then too. It’s just the stakes were high (when have the Lakers been this threatened in a game 7) and the Lakers hadn’t won anything in a while.

we need more staple center crowds like back in the day =/ theres to many rich folk that sit in those seats who just wanna look high class..it seems like all the die hard fans on the road are louder on road games then they are at home

Man LA crowd was under rated back then. They were cheering loudly even when the Lakers where down big! Thats a playoff crowd for you. They never let Portland feel like the game was over with. Maybe Portland had too many number ones and not enough number 2s?

The golden age of the NBA. Officials didn’t let teams get into fistfights under the basket with no call (like in the mid-90s) but guys could still play D without getting little bullshit touch fouls every other play (like last year’s playoffs).
heres why the blazers suck:
1. They acquired an obese Shawn Kemp for 60 million dollars.
2. They paid pippen more than hes worth.
3. They gave away brian shaw to the lakers, and b. shaw paid him back by hitting clutch threes and the buzzer beater in the 3rd quarter.
4. They gave away mario elie to houston in 94
5. They picked sam bowie over michael jordan.
6. Paul Allen is the Owner
7. They let criminals and rapists make more money than educated people
hakeem olajuwon was the best in the 1995 finals, he made shaq his bitch, no one and i mean no one could move so beautiful like hakeem the dream.
that game blazers lost to themselves, they took stupid shots, i applaud LA for capitalizing. they are a bunch of chokers, that is the blazers, im from the northwest, its so sad. Pippen proclaimed to say hes better than jordan, this was the fucking proof in the pudding, bryant and oneal rose to the occasion. steve jabby is one of the worst refs. u can tell phil ordered fox and fisher to fuck with pippen, pippen let the emotions get the better of him.
