I remember watching this game live. Wow, that’s all that can be said. This is why NCAA basketball is the greatest game on earth. That Oklahoma State team underachieved big time. There was way more talent on that team than how they ended up finishing that year.
@frenchydawg I too am a Thunder fan and I too wanted his leg to break!! lol.. In all seriousness, KD is a CLASS ACT!! I love that kid.. The only classy thing to come out of Texas..

soooooooo much fun to watch!!! i remember this game… and i remember crying haha, no one wants to lose after three overtimes. Texas got their vindication though in austin, though, so i guess it was all good.
That’s pretty funny, but I have to admit I was thinking the same thing during those overtime periods. Still, I always like Durant – even when he was playing for UT – because he seemed like one of those kids who just played for the love of the sport. And, he wasn’t a damn thug like Boddicker, Buckman, Klotz, or some of those other big men Rick Barnes has had in the past.
as an ok state fan i did want it to end. i just wanted a win. looking back on this game it was awsome but at the time it was hell
its funny. im a okc thunder fan so i love durant but during this game i was hoping he would break his leg
I remember watching this live, and I had no interest in who actually won the game, yet i was on the edge of my seat. One of the best college basketball games I’ve ever seen. If this game was in the NCAA tournament it probably would have been talked about for years and years as the greatest game ever. So many big shots in that game, it was unreal.

the syracuse conneticut game was longer but they made like 2-4 points a overtime but this game they were hitting threes to take a huge lead so u thought it was over wrong Kevin Durant game back with more threes
Good game but Syracuse vs Uconn was 20 times better.
Awesome. Just…awesome. Greatest college basketball game, if not the greatest basketball game, ever played. Watching live was killing me.

even as a texas game, i had to admit the 6OT game was more unbelievable haha, geez, it must have been pretty heart racing for any syracuse or UCONN fan watching that game

i admit the 6 OT game was a historic game just for how long it was, but it wasn’t entertaining, This game was insane!! two all-stars with Bogan and Durant. this is a classic.
