they know hes south american but because he flourished in the euroleagues and not in argentina so hes considered a european player like alot of players who go over to play in europe who arent from there.
Most americans ignore what happen outside USA, but in this ocassion they were talking about basketball styles and was perfectly understandable. Ginobili played first in Argentina but he formed himself as a great player in Italy. In fact, he played very few matches in the argentinian league.
Someone should tell that dumb f*ck that Argentina is in South America, best “european” player, stupid

Ginobili is argentinean-italian, as aprox 60% people from Argentina. Manu has also italian nationality beacause many members from his family were italian
Is not exactly an european- born guy. He’s argentine but he has italian descendents so, he has also italian nationality. Aprox. 60% people from Argentina has italian parents, grandfathers… I could say he’s argentine-italian; when you hear him speaking spanish, you feel the argentine accent. Anyway, amazing player!
The weren’t calling him a European, they were referring to him playing in the European league… dumbasses.
