Majic’s threes defeats Knicks

NEW YORK, NY — Forward Ryan Anderson scored his season high 33 points and seven rebounds as the Orlando Majic eliminated the New York Knicks, Monday night at the Madison Square Garden.
“A lot of my open shots came off high pick-and-rolls from Dwight and I’m just open in the corner,” said Anderson.
Dwight Howard had an off night as he scored only eight points and grabbed 9 rebounds, he is also 2 of 9 at the free throw line. When Howard is having a very frustrating game, other majic players stepped up in the game like Anderson.
Anderson hit seven of 13 behind the arc a total of 11 of 19 in the field in 35 minutes and 20 seconds. J.J Redick hit 8 of 12 in the field and ended with 21 points. Hedo Turkoglu had a double double with 15 points and 13 rebounds while Glen Davis added 12 points off the bench.
The Majic shot 17 of 35 points beyond the arc that made them pretty amazing by giving the home team a huge deficit.
On the other hand, Carmelo Anthony shook off his injuries and tallied 33 points while the rest of the starters combined for 32 points only.
The Knicks will be facing the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday while the Majic will meet the Charlotte Bobcats on Tuesday.
