Austin Daye got it rolling tonight and Monroe played a tough game. We’ve come to expect guys playing well against us because the home crowd is much more electric,” said Miami’s forward/guard Shane Battier on the Pistons’ unexpectedly strong challenge.
On the other hadn, the Pistons were led by Austin Daye who scored his career-high 28 points for 10 of 18 in the field including 4 of 9 in the three point area. Greg Monroe scored a double double with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Brandon Knight had 17 points while Rodney Stuckey added 15 points but they still came up short in the end.
