Ferrer gets his third Heineken Open title

AUCKLAND, New Zealand — Spanish top two tennis player David Ferrer rejoices again by winning his fitst title this year and by retaining his title for the third time in the Heineken Open.
The World no. 5 retained his title by sweeping his opponent Olivier Rochus from Belgium in straight sets, 6-3 6-4.
Ferrer will head to the Australian Open with positive vibes and will be ready for battle against Portugal’s Rui Machado in the first round.
“I feel tired, very tired. I ran a lot this week,” Ferrer said.
“But it’s the first time I’ve won three times in the same tournament and so this is my favourite tournament. For me to win a tournament three times is very special.”
The Spaniard overpowered the Belgian as he served nine aces and won 81 percent of his first serve points.
Will Ferrer be one of the players that all the fans will be much anticipated?
“Well Ferrer is indeed a good player however he is sometimes inconsistent in what he does, he can win the first few games in the Aussie Ope but when he steps on the quarters that will be a diffenrent story,” said Paolo Jeremiah
“Ferrer will advance to the fourth rank, Andy Murray is not deserving to sit in his position. The Spaniard’s skills are good enough to improve and win more games,” said Danilo Trade.
